U.S. Chemical & Plastics has expanded its product line with the addition of several new primers, reducers and clearcoats.
U.S. Chemical & Plastics (USC) has expanded its product line with the addition of several new primers, reducers, and clearcoats. USC’s new coatings are designed to meet the needs of refinishers looking for value and high-quality materials that compete in performance with major brands, yet at a significantly lower cost.

The 2820™ 2K Urethane Primer Surfacer builds fast, levels smoothly, and sands easily while 2990™ 2K Urethane Sealer is made for “wet-on-wet” applications and has excellent leveling and color holdout characteristics.

When the job calls for a spot, panel, overall, glamour or production clear, the new USC clearcoat offering has a low VOC and national rule option, in standard and Euro technology, for every need. The lineup includes: 7400™ Euro Clearcoat 4.4 VOC, 7500™ Euro Glamour Clearcoat 4.2 VOC, 30™ Clearcoat 2.1 VOC, 60™ Glamour Clearcoat 2.1 VOC, 70™ Hyper Clearcoat 2.1 VOC, 7600™ Euro Clearcoat 2.1 VOC, and 7700™ Euro Glamour Clearcoat 2.1 VOC.

USC’s comprehensive new line up also contains thinners and reducers. These cost-effective additions feature premium, quality-grade solvents that provide options for any situation.

"U.S. Chemical & Plastics has over six decades of experience in the collision repair industry,” said Bob Olszak, USC brand manager. “The USC brand delivers value and simplicity by providing customers a “one-stop-shop” solution for everything from body fillers and putties to abrasives, masking materials, and now an expanded coatings line.”

USC’s new coatings lineup will be introduced during the SEMA show in Las Vegas Tuesday, November 4th through Friday, November 7th. USC will be featured in the Collision & Repair section located in booth 11369.
