Gerber Opens New Michigan Repair Location

June 8, 2016

June 8, 2016—The Boyd Group Inc. announced Tuesday the opening of a collision repair facility in Kalamazoo, Mich., previously operating as a part of the Seelye Ford dealership.

"Adding this location to our other two centers in Kalamazoo gives us coverage in the southern part of the city to better serve new customers and our insurance partners," said Tim O'Day, president and COO of the Boyd Group's U.S. operations. "Additionally, this repair center being co-located with a car dealership gives us a prime opportunity to introduce dealership customers to our high level of quality and service."

The Boyd Group also announced that Kevin Hopp, the location’s manager for the past two years, will continue to lead the shop.
