Service King Expands in Detroit

Jan. 20, 2016—On Tuesday, Service King Collision Repair Centers announced expansion into the Detroit market through a partnership with Autometric Collision and its nine area locations.

Service King and Autometric jointly agreed upon and finalized the terms of the acquisition on Jan. 9 with operations transferring immediately. Service King and its teammates now have 11 collision repair centers across the Detroit market.

“Through four decades of serving our Detroit customers and business partners this is perhaps the most exciting step in Autometric’s proud history,” said Larry Smith, founder of Autometric Collision. “Joining the Service King team allows us to provide the industry’s premier service to our customers while also bolstering resources for our very own teammates.”

Service King now has 285 locations in 23 states.
