MAHLE Sponsors MACS A/C Training Event

April 6, 2016

April 6, 2016—MAHLE Service Solutions announced Wednesday that it will sponsor the heavy Duty Vehicle A/C Clinic presented by Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) at Miramar College in San Diego, May 21.

The clinic will serve as training for technicians for understanding design, testing and replacement, and best practices. The clinic will include a hands-on demonstration, as well as a giveaway of a machine to an attending technician.

“The A/C market is constantly changing and we are proud to support MACS in its ongoing mission to educate and train the industry,” Andreas Huber, general manager of MAHLE Service Solutions, said. “Due to our development of equipment specific to the heavy duty market, we understand the demands and needs that commercial vehicle technicians face on a daily basis.”

The ACX1180C is an OEM heavy duty version of the ACX1180 featuring an integrated printer, three temperature sensors, four pressure sensors, and a micron sensor. A 50 pound internal cylinder and factory-installed heater belt make servicing faster and more accurate with the 1180C.
