Lincoln Electric Releases New Welding Tool

Sept. 20, 2013

Sept. 20, 2013—Lincoln Electric announced Thursday that it has added a line of magnetic angle fixturing devices and hand lifters to its Radius tool Welding Gear product group.

The tools are designed to position steel for tack welding or other pre- or post-weld operations. They also are ideally suited for cutting and grinding applications.

The magnetic fixtures are available in three different models intended for various material thickness or applications. The compact and lightweight design makes them ideal for tight spaces.

“These devices make it easy to align and hold small parts and sheet metal in place for tack welding,” said Jamy Bulan, Lincoln Electric product manager of commercial products. “Using the manual hand lifter can reduce contact with hot or sharp-edged steel.”
