Oct. 4, 2013—Axalta Coating Systems announced Thursday that it has established new headquarters for both its corporate and North America operations. The new corporate offices opened Sept. 30 in Center City Philadelphia, and new headquarters for its North America operations will be in Concord Township, Penn., starting Oct. 31.
The corporate headquarters has helped bring more than 100 jobs to Philadelphia, the company said in a statement. The Concord Township headquarters is expected to bring in more than 230 jobs for the area.
“We are tremendously excited about our new facilities in Pennsylvania,” said Charlie Shaver, chairman and CEO of Axalta Coating Systems. “New offices are a vital element in our plan to communicate our independence and new identity to our customers, our employees and other stakeholders in the U.S. and around the world.”
The Philadelphia corporate headquarters will direct Axalta’s global operations.
