Insurance agreements, collision repair trends to be discussed at ASRW forum

Aug. 17, 2011

Aug. 17, 2011 — Organizers of Automotive Service and Repair Week (ASRW) on Wednesday announced the content of four sessions planned for the event’s Industry Forum and Reception.

The sessions for collision repair professionals include “Trends in Collision Repair–A Futurist Discussion” and “The Changing Climate of Insurance Agreements.” The forum will also feature two sessions for the mechanical industry: “Service Information–Vital to Keeping Cars in Your Bay” and “The Future of Training Automotive Technicians.”

Each collision industry session will run concurrently with a mechanical session. A 30-minute networking break will be offered between sessions and the forum will end with an hour-long reception mixer.

"We identified the most relevant topics that have a direct impact on business for this year's ASRW Industry Forum," said Ron Pyle, president of the Automotive Service Association, which sponsors ASRW. "This compelling program and the lively discussion it generates is another key differentiator that sets ASRW apart from other events."

The ASRW Industry Forum is scheduled for Oct. 5, from 4:30 p.m.–7 p.m. at Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. Forum tickets are included with the purchase of a Super Pass and are available online for $50.

ASRW consists of the International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE) and the Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS). ASRW will take place Oct. 5-8 in Orlando, Fla.
