September 8, 2010—CollisionHub will host an educational event for the Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada during Automotive Service Repair Week (ASRW) in October.
The “Tools for Success” program aims to educate young women about the career opportunities in the collision repair industry. The event will also give the Girl Scouts an opportunity to meet with leading women in the industry and learn about its diverse career paths, according to an ASRW press release_notes.
"We believe that [the event] will be the beginning of a wonderful career exploration and mentoring program between the Girl Scouts of America and the collision repair industry at large,” said Kristen Felder, CollisionHub founder and CEO.
The program will be hosted by Sterling Auto Body Centers and will be held on Oct. 12 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. For more information contact Elizabeth Blackman, operations director of CollisionHub, at 501.650.6623 or [email protected].
