Axalta Names New Chief Operations and Supply Chain Officer

Axalta recently announced a slight shakeup of its executive staff.

Aug. 1, 2019—Axalta recently announced that Barry Snyder has been named senior vice president and chief operations and supply chain officer and Robert Roop has been promoted to vice president and chief technology officer, effective immediately, according to Coatings World.

Snyder was previously senior vice president and chief technology officer of Axalta. Before joining Axalta, he was the senior vice president and chief innovation officer at Orion Engineered Carbons. He was responsible there for global R&D and quality assurance.

From 2008-12, Snyder was vice president, marketing & technology and chief technology officer at H.B. Fuller Company where he oversaw 15 laboratories on four continents.
