3D Auto Body Adds 30,000-Square-Foot Shop

May 2, 2016

May 2, 2016—3D Auto Body & Collision Centers announced Thursday the addition of its sixth location in the Philadelphia market, a 30,000-square-foot facility in Conshohocken, Pa.

The new shop will use a European technology with a catalytic generator to reduce drying times for paint, primer and body filler. It will have 26 bays including two sterile aluminum repair areas.

“We have always been at the forefront of the latest technology here at 3D,” David Niestroy, president of 3D, said. “Although this project has a much larger scope, we believe this will enable us to provide customers and insurance partners something they cannot obtain anywhere else in the region.”

“It all comes down to who can repair the vehicle faster while keeping quality and safety paramount and costs contained by reducing overall cycle time,” said Craig Camacho, 3D’s vice president of marketing and business development.

The shop will fully operational by the beginning of the fourth quarter of 2016.
