Feb. 11, 2011 — Own a hot car, truck or motorcycle painted with DuPont products? Your ride might have a shot at being featured in the paint company’s 2012 calendar.
DuPont just announced the launch of its calendar competition, open to residents of the U.S. and Canada who are at least 18 years old and own or have finished a vehicle painted exclusively with the company’s Refinish, Hot Hues, or Cromax Pro products.
Judging will be based on the best use of color, including finish quality, technical difficulty and design originality. DuPont will select 12 vehicles for professional photo shoots and inclusion in the calendar. The owners or finishers of those vehicles will each receive $500 and 35 copies of the calendar. One grand prize winner will get an additional $2,000 in cash and have their vehicle featured on the calendar cover.
Entries must be made online at hothuescalendar.dupont.com. Entrants can enter more than one vehicle, but only as separate entries. At least two vehicle photos are required per entry. Registration is free.
