Tesla Launches Automatic Navigation

Tesla recently announced a software update featuring expanded navigation capabilities.

Oct. 28, 2019—Tesla has announced a software update with an Automatic Navigation feature, according to Electrek.

Along with the new motor control software resulting in a power increase, Tesla has released the highly-requested capability to schedule vehicle charging and preconditioning in the same update.

While the update will affect models differently, some owners are starting to report already getting the new software update with a “power increase”.

Automatic Navigation routes you to locations associated with upcoming calendar events, to work when leaving home in the morning (Monday through Friday) and home when leaving work in the afternoon or evening (Monday through Friday).
