July 26, 2019—General Motors has reiterated that it seeks to eventually build a large-scale electric vehicle infrastructure in San Francisco.
GM’s Cruise has the world’s largest fleet of all-electric self-driving cars — it uses Chevrolet’s Bolt EV — and CEO Dan Ammann said in multiple recent reports that Cruise owns nearly 40 percent of the EV fast chargers in San Francisco, where it is headquartered.
GM will increase testing and validation miles over the balance of this year, according to reports.
