Farmers Insurance Names New Chief Claims Officer

Calif.-based Farmers Insurance has named Rob Howard as the chief claims officer. Howard was previously head of claims shared services.

June 14, 2018—Farmers Insurance has named Rob Howard chief claims officer, reported Insurance Journal.

Howard was previously head of claims shared services, according to the report.

He joined Farmers in 1987 as a claims representative in St. Louis, and relocated to Southern California in 2000 when he was appointed auto property damage technical manager for the California Zone.

According to Insurance Journal, he became the head of property field claims in 2012 and he was promoted to head of claims shared services in 2014.
