March 22, 2018—Lyft partnered with automobile industry supplier Magna to develop driverless vehicle systems and make them available to manufacturers, reported the Los Angeles Times.
According the Los Angeles Times, this could give Lyft more choice when deciding what car brands to buy.
Canada-based Magna International is one of the world's largest auto suppliers.Magna will invest $200 million in Lyft, manufacture the systems and sell them to automakers.
