Nagy’s Annual Deer-Hit Contest Raises Money for Cleveland Children’s Clinic

Oct. 15, 2015

Oct. 15, 2015—Nagy’s Collision Centers has donated $250 to the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Oncology Group to help with childhood cancer treatment.

Nagy’s donated $10 for every deer-damaged vehicle repair through the month of September to the Cleveland Clinic in honor of 6-year-old Carson Tate, who is battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

“It’s great to see Carson excited to be part of helping children like himself in the fight to end childhood cancer. He is definitely the Superhero of this company!” said Ron Nagy, owner of Nagy’s Collision Centers.

Nagy’s 2015 campaign, “Hit a Buck, Donate some Doe,” runs from September through December, with each month focusing on a different charity. Each customer that has a vehicle damaged by a deer and repaired at any of Nagy’s locations receives a T-shirt for being part of the donation.

For five years, Nagy’s Collision Centers has had a deer-hit contest where customers were tracked and put in a lottery for prizes. This year, the contest was turned into a campaign that gives back. Donations for October will be given to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
