June 27, 2011—Enterprise Rent-A-Car recently became the first rental car brand to receive the Collision Repair Education Foundation’s (CREF) Industry Leadership Circle donor designation.
“The Industry Leadership Circle donor designation highlights the extraordinary commitment of industry organizations and individuals to invest in the future of the industry,” said Scott Kruger, executive director of the CREF. “Its members include a wide cross-section of the entire collision repair inter-industry and we are pleased to have Enterprise as the first rental car company in the Circle.”
Enterprise earned the donor designation as a result of its $11,000 donation to the CREF in 2011. The donation will support the CREF’s Collision Repair Education Campaign fund, which allows the organization to provide annual student scholarships, school grants and the Ultimate Collision Education Makeover grant.
”Our partnership with the collision repair industry has been a key to our success over the years,” said Bruce Clifton, vice president of insurance replacement for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. “We are happy to assist the efforts of the Collision Repair Education Foundation to identify and develop the next generation of industry leaders.”
Inter-industry organizations and individuals interested in supporting the CREF should contact Brandon Eckenrode, CREF’s associate director of development, at Brandon.Eckenrode@ed foundation.org.
