I-CAR recognizes committee member for volunteer service

Aug. 30, 2010

August 30, 2010—I-CAR awarded Chris Knepler of the I-CAR Springfield Committee, the President’s Volunteer Service Award for continued volunteer service to the collision industry.

The award was given based on Knepler’s high standard of service and his encouragement of others to also volunteer their time to organizations.

“The time and commitment put forth by Chris and the Springfield Committee are invaluable,” said John Edelen, president and CEO of I-CAR. “As a not-for-profit organization, I-CAR depends on the support and dedication of its volunteers to strengthen the I-CAR vision: that every person in the collision industry, current and future, has the necessary knowledge and skills relevant to their position to achieve a complete and safe repair.”
