Running through Oct. 15, customers who buy four Continental tires valued at $499 or more will receive a free Magellan Roadmate 2035 GPS system.
“Our GPS promotions have been far and away the most popular and successful promotions we’ve had,” reports marketing director Travis Roffler.
“Our customers wanted us to bring it back, and we listened – just in time to send their kids off to college with a new set of tires and a GPS to keep them safe on the road,” he notes.
The new promotion is supported with point-of-sale displays at Continental’s tire dealerships nationwide. Marketing efforts also include an Internet banner advertising campaign along with ads in automotive enthusiast publications.
