AASP-PA Expands Membership Options

Sept. 15, 2014

Sept. 15, 2014—The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of Pennsylvania (AASP-PA) has opened its membership for the first time to include students and technicians, the organization recently announced.

The goal is to create new levels to allow all members of the automotive service providers in the state to gain the educational opportunities the organization provides, the AASP-PA said in a release.

The student membership is open to students in high school, technical school and university-level programs studying in the automotive field. The student membership is free. For more information, or to sign up, students can go online.

The technician membership opens up opportunities for anyone working in the automotive industry in Pennsylvania, including service advisors and managers. The cost is $50 if the new member’s facility is a AASP-PA shop. It’s $100 for employees of non-member businesses. Additional information about the technician membership—including sign-up—can be found online.

For more information, contact Jeff Walter or Amanda Henry at AASP-PA, 717.564.8400 or through email at [email protected] or [email protected].
