AMI Accepting NACE Scholarship Applications

May 9, 2013

May 9, 2013—The Automotive Management Institute (AMI) is now accepting applications for two annual scholarships, the Richard Cossette/Gale Westerlund Memorial Scholarship and the Emil Stanley Merit Award.

The scholarships, which are offered in conjunction with the Automotive Service Association (ASA), honor the lifelong contributions that Richard Cossette, Gale Westerlund and Emil Stanley made to AMI, ASA and the collision repair industry.

AMI said the scholarship recipients will receive $1,000 toward expenses to attend the 2013 NACE Expo, which is scheduled for Oct. 16-18 in Las Vegas.

To be eligible for the sholarships, applicants must work in the collision repair industry, demonstrate an interest in self-improvement through management education, and own or work for a business that is an ASA Collision Division member. Applicants who are not business owners must also be recommended by their employer.

Visit amionline.org to apply for the scholarships. The application deadline is Aug. 30.
