I-CAR Rolls out Online Carbon Fiber Course

Dec. 10, 2013—As part of I-CAR’s recent training system overhaul, the organization announced on Tuesday the launch of a new online course: “Introduction to Carbon Fiber.”

The class is designed to teach industry professionals how to work with carbon fiber in the collision repair process, and also aims to dispel myths surrounding the material via interactive exercises and videos.

The two-credit course meets training requirements for the Gold Class Professionals, Platinum Individual and Professional Development programs for a number of roles such as steel structural technician and auto physical damage appraiser.
