Federated Auto Parts will continue to sponsor the Federated Auto Parts 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at the Nashville SuperSpeedway for three more years, according to an announcement made by J.R. Bishop, director of member services and event marketing for Federated Auto Parts. Federated has sponsored a NASCAR race at Nashville for the last 13 years.

“We are very pleased to be able to extend our Nationwide Series race sponsorship and we would look forward to continuing our relationship with the great folks at the Nashville SuperSpeedway,” says Bishop. “Federated has been a long-time supporter of racing at all levels, but the Federated Auto Parts 300 has become the cornerstone of our motorsports program.”

A near-capacity crowd, including more than1,200 Federated guests, saw Brad Keselowski cross the finish line first to capture the checkered flag at the 2008 Federated 300 held on June 7 at the Nashville SuperSpeedway. The crowd also enjoyed a pre-race country music concert while a nationwide audience tuned in the broadcast of the race on ESPN2.

“I am thrilled to have Federated Auto Parts back as the title sponsor for our June Nationwide race,” says Cliff Hawks, vice president and general manager of the Nashville SuperSpeedway.  “The new agreement will extend what has been such a positive working relationship over the years.  Federated Auto Parts has played a key role in the success of our June race and we look forward to seeing all of our friends at Federated Auto Parts and their guests in 2009 and beyond.”
