Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. announces the promotion of Steve Hutchinson to vice president of marketing. A veteran of the automotive industry, Hutchinson joined Toyo® in April 2006, serving as the company’s senior director of marketing until his promotion on July 1.
 
During his tenure with Toyo, Hutchinson has expanded marketing and sponsorship efforts, including national television advertising and partnerships with the UFC®, Anaheim Ducks and Pac-10 basketball. Several new products have also been successfully introduced: the Versado™ LX luxury tire for passenger cars, the Proxes® R888™ D.O.T.-approved competition tire, the Proxes® R1R™ extreme performance tire, new commercial truck tires such as the M137™ and M154™; and their newest product, the Proxes® ST II™ high-performance tire for sport trucks, SUVs and select crossovers.
