NAPA, NASCAR crew chiefs putting skills together for training
RELATED
NAPA Brakes is taking the recent endorsement of several NASCAR Crew Chief Club members and pairing it with training seminars to bring more education to techs around the nation.
This program is comprised of a core group of elements that feature the nationwide NAPA Brakes endorsement by three of the top crew chiefs (past and present) in NASCAR, NAPA states. These elements include point-of-sale materials, national promotions and training events; all have been designed to show jobbers, installers and consumers that NAPA Brakes is the preferred brake product of some of the top technicians in the racing world.
The training events will be held this NASCAR season in nine influential markets across the U.S. This exclusive training component is intended for jobbers and installers to learn from the most respected experts in their business, the NASCAR Crew Chiefs.
Spots are limited at each session, and the ticket-only events include:
• One-hour CASE certified brake training session with Master ASE certified technicians
• One-hour Crew Chief “Track Talk” with NASCAR Crew Chief Todd Berrier of Richard Childress Racing and legendary NASCAR Crew Chief and FOX Sports Broadcaster Larry McReynolds
• Catered dinner
• Crew Chief goodie bag including an autographed item, and other useful in-shop items
Training event locations are:
• Phoenix
• Charlotte
• Chicago
• Indianapolis
• Pocono
• Atlanta
• Kansas City
• Las Vegas
• Homestead
For those not able to attend and who still want to learn from the pros, recorded training events will be available on NAPABrakes.com. In addition, a NASCAR Performance Live radio talk show will be broadcast live from the event held at Michael Waltrip Racing in Charlotte, NC. The weekly radio show is hosted by recognized FOX Sports Broadcaster and former NASCAR Crew Chief Larry McReynolds. The show will be syndicated nationwide to more than 125 radio outlets and will also run nationally on Sirius radio.
“We know our stuff, and we’re excited to partner with NAPA Brakes, because they have some of the highest quality brake parts around. We’ll let installers and consumers know to use what we use on our own personal vehicles,” says McReynolds.
