General Tire is issuing a call for entries to contestants eager to be this year’s Miss Mint 400. The deadline for participating in the Nevada pageant is Feb. 8.
Three finalists will attend the Mint 400 kickoff event on Fremont Street in Las Vegas on March 25, where the winner will be crowned. Miss Mint will then appear at the March 26 Mint 400 Tech Day before helping to start the race on March 27.
The winner also gets $1,500 and a personal photo shoot. Contestants must be 21 or older and able to attend the assorted events associated with the queen’s reign.
Last year’s competition “flooded our Web site with entries and votes,” reports Dana Zamalloa, General’s public relations and communications Manager. “With such great results in the first year, we’re looking for an even greater response for this year’s event.”
