ChemSpec Names New President

Dec. 1, 2014—ChemSpec USA Inc., a global manufacturer of premium coatings of automotive refinish, has announced several organizational changes.   

Company President Rob Simpson retired in November from Chemspec, and Ron Snow, the former vice President of operations/general manager, has been promoted to president and will assume full responsibility for the business in the U.S.

"We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Ron Snow to the position of President of Chemspec USA,”  Chief Executive Officer Schreuder said in a release.  “Ron was part of the original business that was acquired by Chemspec and through hard work and dedication, has helped to build a reputation in the business for being both a solutions and customer orientated person as well as a strong team player, a person which we are very proud of and who thoroughly deserves his new role."

Snow joined the company in 1998 as a quality control lab technician, when the company was known as Montana Products.
