VinFast to Partner With I-CAR for Repair Network Training

VinFast, the first Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, will now require I-CAR’s Gold Class credentials in its U.S. repair network.

VinFast, the first Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, will now require I-CAR’s Gold Class credentials in its U.S. repair network, according to a press release.

Training will be provided for the VinFast Certified Collision Network (VCCN) by I-CAR through its Professional Development Program, with a curriculum that is “comprehensive and IACET accredited.”

Following the announcement, VinFast joins 37 other OEMs and insurers in requiring the Gold Class certification for its networks. 

“We are very excited to now also support VinFast–an electric vehicle brand that is making rapid strides in the global EV market and in the US in particular,” I-CAR Vice President of Sales and Marketing Greg Ross stated via the press release. “We look forward to working with VinFast to bring our high-quality solutions to its VCCN for the ultimate benefit of the consumer.”
