Valspar Automotive will unleash a variety of innovative new and feature paint and refinish products across its family of brands – Matrix Automotive Finishes®, Prospray® Finishes, Valspar® Finishes and DeBeer Refinish® – in the company’s booth no. 10839 (North Hall) at The SEMA Show this year. The show is hosted at the Las Vegas Convention Center, opening Tuesday, October 31 through closing Friday, November 3.

Matrix Automotive Finishes C2C Coast-2-Coast System

Matrix Automotive Finishes is now giving collision and restoration shops a system that is compliant—from coast-to-coast in the U.S. and Canada. Not only does this new Matrix C2C Coast 2 Coast® System meet compliance standards with low VOC paint and products, but it comes complete with a three-tiered basecoat system giving shops the flexibility to pick the best basecoat for the job. It also includes 61 liquid toners in half quart and gallon cans along with an assortment of less used colors in half quart containers and 25 powder pearls.

By design [with less SKUs], Matrix’s C2C mixing system will help reduce inventory, improve overall costs, deliver consistent color match and reduce cycle times, “and that’s just the beginning of its long list of benefits to the shop,” says Pete Willman, Valspar Automotive Senior Sales Director – North America. “We’re excited to rollout the Matrix C2C System and offer customers a turn-key refinishing program that’s not only VOC compliant no matter where their shop is located but it’s designed to improve productivity and put more money in their pocket.”

DeBeer Refinish WaterBase 900+ Series

Spraying a waterborne system delivers more than compliance; DeBeer Refinish WaterBase 900+ Series drives home coverage with high-opacity hues for all solid, metallic, xirallic and pearl colors. “It’s one of the most easy to use waterborne systems available,” says Willman. Not necessarily new to the collision repair and refinish industry; however, DeBeer Refinish’s waterborne system is recognized for its cost savings. With 25 percent less mixing colors, yet a complete system with must-have primers, clearcoats and ancillaries, shops spend less on inventory yet increase productivity impacting profitability.

Supported by global color software and a spectrophotometer, the 900+ Series achieves the highest degree of color precision resulting in a superior finish.

Valspar Refinish Radical Effects Toners

A system that is recognized in the collision repair and refinish industry as ultra-versatile is now ultra-radical with four new toners that promise special color effects. From Fusion to Seafoam, four new Radical Effects toners from Valspar Refinish will shift from magenta to green and green/gold to turquoise.

“These new toners complement what is already an all-encompassing and complete system,” says Willman.

Prospray Finishes Low-VOC Toners

Prospray Finishes’ most used colors – Super White, Black, Jet Black, Shining Coarse Aluminum and Silver Dollar Coarse Aluminum – are now available in low VOC formulas; all five toners offer the same 1:1 mixing ratio with the option of activating for durability. “We’ve upgraded the system with these new toners,” says Willman, “and we’ll continue to grow the low VOC offering, maximizing performance and functionality of the brand as a whole.”
