As the sponsor of the Bridgestone Super Bowl Halftime Show,
the tire maker is running a Facebook sweepstakes promotion
through Jan. 9 that will culminate in a fan winning a trip
to the big game at Cowboys Stadium.
The grand prize includes roundtrip airfare for two, a four-
night/five-day stay in North Texas, two prime seats at Super
Bowl XLV, a Bridgestone fan pack and $1,000 in spending
money.
“We wanted to show appreciation to fans of our brand, and
what better way to reward them than by giving them the most
sought-after event ticket of the year,” says marketing
director Michael Fluck.
“We think this is the perfect way to thank our fans for
being loyal to the Bridgestone brand,” he notes.
Those who enter the sweepstakes by going to Bridgestone’s
Facebook page also have a chance to win $100 gift
certificates from NFLShop.com. Fans can enter daily to
increase their chances of winning the grand prize.
Super Bowl XLIV was watched by more than 51.7 million
households, surpassing the 1983 finale of “MASH” to become
the most-watched program in U.S. television history,
according to Nielsen ratings. The Super Bowl is annually the
nation’s highest-rated television program and the most-
watched single-day sporting event.
