Military personnel are invited to apply for a custom truck makeover to be awarded in July. Demented Customs and Truckin’ magazine are working with Hankook Tire, USW forged, RBP and Airbagit.com to transform the winning service member’s vehicle.
Hankook will be supplying a new set of ultra-high performance tires to go along with a one-off paintjob, custom suspension and other modifications.
“This is a great opportunity for us to show our appreciation and support for America’s military troops,” says Bill Bainbridge, Hankook’s director of brand communications. “We’re proud to be involved with this program and we’re looking forward to rewarding an individual who selflessly serves our country each day.”
Current military men and women are encouraged to go to www.truckinweb.com and set up a user account and then send any Truckin’ editor a private message with their name, email address, phone number, military branch and current deployment status. They are also asked to include truck information including year, make and model along with any current modifications.
Truckin’ will select the winner at random and announce the recipient’s name in the July 27 issue.
