“We decided to no longer keep our tires the ‘best kept secret’ in RVing – and to go ahead and put our product listings out on the Web for tire-savvy consumers,” explains marketing director Clif Armstrong. “Recreational vehicle owners have raved to us for years about the low vibration, low maintenance and long durability of Continental tires.”

The new RV section organizes tire offerings for larger RVs by their application; either primarily on the highway, or for mixed on/off highway use. The recently introduced HSL1 Coach tire, which includes fuel efficient compounding for primarily on-highway use, is showcased on the site. Other recommended tires include the HSR1 and HDR.

The company’s field engineers and warranty experts also developed a manual for RV tires that can be printed-out and kept for handy reference, according to Armstrong. The document includes information about RV loading practices, tire inflation tables, understanding RV weights and common tire wear conditions.

RV owner Don Evans of Nashville says he hopes other RV enthusiasts will check out the new online information and consider buying the company’s offerings. “I’ve had them for at least two, maybe three years now, and our Continental tires are – and have been – just terrific,” he reports.

“Over approximately 7,500 miles they haven’t given me the slightest problem,” adds Evans. “I’ve heard so many ‘war stories’ from other owners with other brands of tires, but I just love the Continentals.”
