Recycling and retreading workshop taking place ate ITEC 2010
The International Tire Exhibition & Conference (ITEC) will feature a half-day interactive workshop: “Recycling and Retreading Bring Value To The Tire Industry,” on Sept. 20, at the event in Cleveland.
Moderated by Denise Kennedy, founder and president of DK Enterprises, the workshop will cover the progression of the tire recycling industry and explore what new markets mean for manufacturers, dealers, distributors, suppliers and other recyclers.
Leaders in the tire recycling industry will explore the challenges and opportunities tire recyclers and retreaders face to maintain their economic foothold, consistency in quality and quantity of raw materials and demand for finished goods. This session will discuss how creating markets are vital to the overall health of the tire industry and how changes in new tire compounds, materials, construction and design impact scrap tire processing and recycled rubber markets.
