To coincide with National Car Care Month in April, the Car Care Council has made its debut on iTunes, launching a new series of Car Care Minute podcasts to help motorists learn more about caring for their vehicle investment. Each week, a new podcast installment will be available free of charge, with each episode focusing on a different area of vehicle care.

“We are very proud to announce the new Car Care Minute podcast on iTunes,” says Rich White, executive director, Car Care Council. “Many motorists have an iPhone or iPod and are looking for new downloads. Our podcast is an exciting and easy way for car owners to learn more about the benefits of regular vehicle maintenance when they are on-the-go.”

The Car Care Minute podcast is a collection of videos with vital tips and preventive maintenance information to help vehicle owners keep their cars on the road. The first three installments are currently available at http://itunes.apple.com/podcast/car-care-minute-be-car-care/id365777059 or by searching iTunes for “Car Care Council.” The videos are free to download and share.

“National Car Care Month is a great time to get in the habit of taking better care of your vehicle investment,” White states. “Routine vehicle maintenance is the best way to save money in the long run. A well-maintained vehicle has better fuel economy, a longer life on the road and a higher resale value.”

This new iTunes podcast is just one of the many free resources available from the Car Care Council. The popular digital Car Care Guide can be found at http://carcare.org/car-care-guide. The first-of-its-kind guide uses easy-to-understand everyday language to outline the most common preventive maintenance occasions and procedures that need to be performed to keep cars safe, dependable and efficient.
