A lineup of fall and winter Automotive Tire Service (ATS) and Commercial Tire Service (CTS) Certified Instructor classes is being presented by Tire Industry Association (TIA).

The sessions will be conducted in Baltimore and Denver.

Completing the coursework results in Certified Instructor status, which qualifies you to conduct Certified Technician courses for your employees, according to Roy Littlefield, the TIA’s executive vice president.

The ATS program combines in-depth classroom instruction with comprehensive, hands-on education, he says. Students who successfully complete the program are prepared to return to their companies and impart that knowledge to their fellow employees by conducting in-house Certified ATS Technician or Instructor classes.

The CTS program utilizes classroom instruction with hands-on learning. Students who successfully complete the CTS Instructor program are qualified to certify technicians in the field.

“The TIA CTS and ATS Instructor Programs continue to prove that there is a great demand for training in the industry,” Littlefield points out. “We’re excited to see the number of ATS and CTS trained technicians and instructors continue to grow and the industry recognizing the investment training and education can be.”
