Remy supports Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper Charity Cars Program

Remy International has joined the Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper (AAPA) group as a participating vendor in the Charity Cars program.

This program benefits victims of domestic violence and abuse by enabling them to obtain refurbished cars.

Remy will participate with AAPA shareholders, as well as hundreds of
parts stores and certified service centers, in an alliance with The
Original 1-800-Charity Cars organization in a project to locate and
refurbish vehicles.

The goal is to present these vehicles to more than 500 qualified abuse victims at ceremonies throughout the U.S. in 2008.

Remy will supply its AAPA member customers with an alternator or starter
motor needed for any car being refurbished.
