I-CAR supports collision industry through training, tech showcase at NACE

I-CAR returned to the NACE Expo in Las Vegas where it continued its long-standing relationship with Automotive Service Repair Week. During the expo, I-CAR offered an extended training schedule that supported the recently introduced I-CAR Professional Development Program, including the premiere of I- CAR's newest course, Collision Repair for Honda and Acura Vehicles (HON01). The Technology Showcase, which premiered at the expo in 2006, returned with all-new information.

John Edelen, I-CAR President and CEO said, "The pace of change brought about by new technologies will have a significant impact on the collision repair industry. Staying current on these developing trends is imperative for collision industry businesses and employees to be successful. I-CAR is glad to have the ability to reach key members of the industry at NACE with information on new technologies and what they mean to those involved in the collision repair process."

I-CAR's Technology Showcase - along with I-CAR's class sessions - provide NACE attendees with some of the latest information about collision repair trends and what to expect next for the collision repair industry.

In July, I-CAR introduced the I-CAR® Professional Development ProgramTM. The Program addresses the direction of the collision repair inter-industry to move to a training model that supports career progression through training that builds upon previous knowledge and is geared toward specific roles in collision repair, insurance, and other related industries.
