ASA-Michigan Launches Member-Only Website

May 6, 2013

May 6, 2013—The Automotive Service Association of Michigan (ASA-Michigan) recently launched a new community website for its members.

ASA-Michigan’s new website, miasacommunity.com, features a virtual library of automotive industry professionals, groups, discussions, blogs, news and webinars. The website includes resources for both the collision and mechanical repair segments.

Ray Fisher, president of ASA-Michigan, said the website also includes an electronic bulletin board for members to interact and share best practices, ideas and feedback with one another on various topics.

“The opportunity for the membership to interact is invaluable today. With vehicle technology, social media, higher customer expectations and leaner operations, the members need a place to share best practices and ideas immediately so they are not alone,” Fisher said. “Media allows consumers to make decisions quickly, and our members need to be able to respond with educated decisions and they need to know they can go to one source to get it.”
