Racers Billy Glidden and Brad Brand have
notched noteworthy performances at the
Street Car Super Nationals VII while
running on Mickey Thompson tires and
wheels.
Brand's Atlanta Chassis Dyno “Triple B”
Mustang achieved the world’s first five-
second runs on 3169W ET Drag tires, earning
him a $1,500 bonus from the supplier along
with the world record. Brand went on to win
his first two elimination rounds following
qualification in the Pro Street
class.
Glidden won in the Outlaw 10.5 Class on
3169W ET Drag tires and Pro-5 Drag
Wheels.
“What a great event for these competitors
on our 3169W ET Drag tires,” says Carl
Robinson, motorsports manager at Mickey
Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels. He
describes the situation “as one of the most
memorable events of the year and an
incredible way to end the season.”
