Building of off Hankook's spring "Great Catch" baseball promotion, the company's fall "Great Hit" campaign features an increased rebate offer.

Running through Nov. 30, customers who buy four select Hankook tires from an authorized dealer can obtain a mail-in rebate of up to $80.

Eligible tires include the ultra-high performance Ventus V12 evo, the new luxury performance touring all-season Optimo H426 and the performance touring all-season Optimo H727.

A “Great Hit” car giveaway drawing will award the grand prize winner with a 2012 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 Sedan; no purchase is necessary.

“With the growing popularity of the Hankook brand here in the United States, our ‘Great Catch’ and ‘Great Hit’ promotions have been very successful, generating significant participation among both consumers and dealers,” says company President Soo Il Lee.

“We’re excited for this fall’s Great Hit promotion, which brings the new luxury performance touring all- season Optimo H426 to the product mix,” he adds.

“The Optimo H426 is a result of our focus on producing the highest quality tires, equipped with cutting edge technology to provide consumers with exceptional performance and value,” says Lee.

The company will be promoting the campaigns through print, television and online channels. Its TV commercials will add a “2011 Great Hit” tag to spots running on various cable and regional networks.
