Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations is implementing price increases in two of its divisions.

The Off Road Tire, U.S. & Canada Commercial Tire Sales division (BAOR), has announced plans to increase prices by 12 percent with some in-line adjustments. The price increases will affect all mining, construction and industrial tires marketed by BAOR. The price increases are scheduled to begin March 1.

The Agricultural Tire, U.S. & Canada Commercial Tire Sales division (BAAG) has announced a 4 percent price increase on Firestone agricultural, construction and forestry tires; Bridgestone garden tires; and Regency tires sold in the United States and Canada replacement markets. The new pricing will be effective April 1.

“We are committed to providing our customers with tires of the highest possible quality and value,” says Saul Solomon, president of U.S. and Canada Commercial Tire Sales. “While we make every effort to absorb cost fluctuations through efficiencies, the widespread rise in the cost of raw materials, fuel and transportation have made these adjustments necessary at this time.”
