In addition, the price of Bridgestone, Firestone and Continuum OTR tires and retread rubber will also rise beginning Aug. 1.

The total average increase will be 11 percent.

“Volatile market conditions continue to provide many challenges to the transportation industry, and Bridgestone Commercial Solutions is certainly not immune to the rising cost of doing business,” says Kurt Danielson, division president.

“We are particularly impacted by intense supply pressures and escalating raw materials, making this increase necessary at this time,” he adds.
