Bridgestone raises pricing on commercial tire lines

Effective immediately, Bridgestone Commercial Solutions has increased prices in the U.S. and Canada on its Bridgestone and Firestone truck and bus tires, Bandag retreads and related retreading materials.
Effective immediately, Bridgestone Commercial Solutions has increased prices in the U.S. and Canada on its Bridgestone and Firestone truck and bus tires, Bandag retreads and related retreading materials.

In addition, the price of Bridgestone, Firestone and Continuum OTR tires and retread rubber will also rise beginning Aug. 1.

The total average increase will be 11 percent.

“Volatile market conditions continue to provide many challenges to the transportation industry, and Bridgestone Commercial Solutions is certainly not immune to the rising cost of doing business,” says Kurt Danielson, division president.

“We are particularly impacted by intense supply pressures and escalating raw materials, making this increase necessary at this time,” he adds.
