Continental, the Official Tire of Grand-Am Road Racing, debuted
a new commercial during the Speed Channel’s live coverage of the
Jan. 27-30 Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway.
The 30-second spot features Grand-Am competitors on
Continental’s tires “flawlessly executing the curves and
straightway in full racing trim.” It targets car enthusiasts
“with a passion for the open road, racing and the adrenaline
rush of performance.”
Produced by Mad Media of Oceanside, Calif., the entire sequence
was filmed at VIR race track in Virginia during a tire test
session.

“Grand-Am racing is the country's preeminent sanctioning body in

The commercial will be aired on Speed during the circuit’s
racing broadcasts throughout the year.
