TravelCenters of America has opened its latest TA Truck Service Center offering commercial tire repairs and sales at Exit 141 along Interstate 75 in Pioneer, Tenn. The company now has 222 truck stops under its TA Truck Service and Petro:Lube banners.

The new facility features five service bays under the management of Jim Parsley. His staff includes ten trained technicians, six truck service advisors and an assistant manager for 24-hour operations every day of the year, according to Ara Bagdasarian, the firm’s executive vice president.

The Pioneer location is also participating in TA’s RoadSquad service program to assist downed truckers along the highway.

“Last month, we opened a company-owned truck service location in Morris, Ill.,” Bagdasarian reports. “We are thrilled to continue to add to our industry- leading truck service and maintenance business with this newest location,” he adds, “which provides coverage on an important stretch of I-75, and to expand our relationship with an existing franchisee.”

The TA and Petro:Lube brands now encompass some 1,100 bays, more than 2,500 technicians and a fleet of Roadsquad trucks exceeding 400 vehicles ready to render on-the-spot assistance, Bagdasarian notes.

The two chains were recently selected as top performers by professional truckers in an Overdrive Magazine survey for best technicians, friendly service and best overall maintenance shops.
