The TA chain was rated “best” for its RoadSquad assistance program, maintenance shops, new tire replacements, used tire replacements, most competent technicians and friendliest write-up staff.

“Drivers are perceptive and very honest.” says Tom O’Brien, TravelCenters’ president and CEO. “They know where they need to go to be treated with more respect, whether that’s through better amenities and services or by friendlier employees. As we like to say, full-service is ‘at your service’ and drivers clearly see and feel the difference.”

The company’s Petro Stopping Centers also fared well in the rankings. The firm has sites in 41 states and Canada. With locations at interstate exits, the operations offer diesel and gasoline fueling, full- and quick-service restaurants, heavy truck maintenance and tires, showers, 24-hour convenience stores, electronic communication (WiFi) availability and other services.
