Tire Factory names Walter Lybeck as CFO

Walter Lybeck is the new chief financial officer at the Tire Factory, a Portland, Ore.-based member-owned cooperative comprised of more than 200 independent tire retailers.

“We are very pleased to have Walter join the Tire Factory team,” notes CEO John Kreidel. “Walter brings a solid skill set to us that will guide our significant growth plans.”

With more than 15 years of experience, Lybeck most recently held the top financial position at Rejuvenation, Inc. He previously helmed financial executive posts with Nautilus, Oregon Steel, Intel and Deloitte & Touche.

Tire Factory members operate more than 200 retail outlets in 13 western states with end-user sales in excess of $300 million covering multiple tire brands, wheels and related repairs. The Tire Factory has two regional distribution centers located in Portland and Salt Lake City.
