Carl Renezeder, flying the Team General Tire colors, was able to beat back against wrecks and rolls to reach the podium during last weekend’s Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing event in Surprise, Ariz.

He was running on the company’s latest short course tire, the Grabber SC, in size 35x12.50R17 for Pro 2 and Pro 4 drivers. It has a three-ply Duragen-reinforced body with a newly-developed competition-specific tread compound.

Renezeder won the Pro 2 class and took third in Pro 4 during Saturday’s action; on Sunday he placed second in both classes.

“This was a hard-fought weekend battle, but Carl prevailed to take Team General Tire to the podium in all of his events,” says public relations manager Dana Zamalloa.

“Carl is the ultimate contender and we are so excited about his performance this weekend,” Zamalloa adds. “This is going to be a great season of racing.”
