Toyo’s Proxes A20 all season P225/45R18 tire has been selected as an optional original equipment upgrade for the 2010 Lexus HS 250h.
Billed as the “World’s First Hybrid-Only Luxury Vehicle,” it has obtained “the best combined estimated EPA mpg rating of any luxury vehicle in the U.S. at 35-mpg, and also achieves 35-mpg city and 34-mpg highway,” says Toyo spokesman Jay Jones.
“A leather-appointed interior with a 137-watt, 10-speaker premium sound system are just part of the many comfort features that come standard with this new hybrid. Ride comfort and security are also attributes of the Toyo Proxes A20 tires on this new Lexus,” he adds.
As an eco-friendly tire, it “works extremely well with modern, efficient hybrid vehicles,” Jones reports, noting how an advanced design “delivers improved rolling resistance and quieter operation.”
Other Toyo OE fitments include the Toyota Prius V, Camry and the Highlander Hybrid Limited.
