Toyo’s all-
season Proxes A20 has been selected as original equipment for
the 2012 Toyota Prius v hybrid.
Going on sale in the fall, the latest member of the Prius
family “represents a new evolution in hybrid vehicles with
excellent cargo space now rivaling small SUVs,” according to
Toyo.
The eco-friendly A20 features a low rolling resistance design
for reduced fuel consumption, while also providing excellent
dry and wet braking for overall safety, the company says. In
addition, the well-balanced tire offers good handling
performance and a quiet, comfortable ride.
The P215/50R17 Proxes A20
is packaged with available 7- by 17-inch, 10-spoke aluminum
alloy wheels.
The philosophy of the new Prius v is “versatility,” according
to Toyo. It has “the spaciousness of a midsize family
friendly vehicle” and delivers an estimated EPA fuel economy
rating of 44 mpg city, 40 mpg highway and 42 mpg
combined.
