CARSTAR Sponsors Fundraising Event

May 30, 2014

May 30, 2014—The CARSTAR Puget Sound Business Group announced Thursday that it helped the 2014 Girls Giving Back Art and Wine auction raise $16,000.

It was the second year that CARSTAR sponsored the event, which benefits Girls Giving Back, a non-profit organization that aims to bring stability to individuals and families in need by improving living conditions in Puget Sound, Wash., transitional shelters.

“As both business owners and residents in this community, we want to help improve the quality of life and housing resources for all of the community members,” said Kevin Parsons, president of the CARSTAR Puget Sound business group and owner of three CARSTAR locations throughout the region. “Our support of Girls Giving Back helps provide new housing opportunities as well as improvements to current housing for those in need, which hopefully provides a new foundation for them and their families to pursue employment and education.”
